Hello everyone around the world. Myl Allaa norr and I am organizing this fundraising campaign for my friend, who has lost everything in the past few months. Alaa Nour Al-Amsi, 34, lives west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. He lost his home and now lives in a tent. He hasn't received adequate meals for months. Although the war is over, there is nothing left in Gaza: no family, no home, no work. He wants to escape death and suffering and leave the Gaza Strip in search of a safer place, and he needs help to do so. Alaa says, "I have survived previous wars and conflicts, but this war has literally destroyed everything. My life has become an unbearable hell, and I have been suffering from it since the beginning of this war. The latest wave of destruction has destroyed everything I own, and I am homeless. I live in a tent, without possessions, without the basic necessities of life (water, food, proper clothing, bedding, medicine), and often without hope." Alaa lives in a situation where he cannot afford anything, and my life has become indescribable due to the intense daily suffering caused by this conflict. His immediate goal is to cover travel costs and leave Gaza for a safe place away from the ongoing war.

Alaa will first use the money to escape the death that haunts him daily by traveling through the Rafah border crossing into Egypt. The coordination fees are very high and beyond his means, so he needs help with this. Prices have ranged from 16,000 euros per adult during the war. Part of the money will cover fundraising costs, as well as money transfer costs via Western Union, which still operates in some areas of Gaza. The remainder will be used to provide temporary housing, food, medical care, and basic necessities, enabling me to find a more stable situation, find work, and start a new life.
