Family and friends of Lindsay Meyer,

To know Lindsay is to love her. And if you clicked to read this story, you are likely one of the fortunate individuals in this world whose life has been in some way improved by knowing such a radiant woman as Lindsay.

In July of 2022, Lindsay was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma breast cancer. This staging indicates the cancer has spread into nearby lymph nodes. Gratefully, there was no spread beyond this area.

True to Lindsay’s proactive character, she has already settled on, and begun, her treatment plan, which will consist of chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and hormone therapies. While the treatment will be rigorous, the prognosis is good. Her goal is to continue working—and living her life of positivity—throughout the healing process. Lindsay currently resides in Clearwater, Florida and will remain there for the duration of her treatment.

While insurance will take care of medical costs, we all know that a cancer diagnosis brings with it other financial demands, including travel costs, dietary supplements, lost wages, and more. Our goal with this fundraiser is to help ease the stress of Lindsay’s journey to recovery.

Lindsay’s loved ones are far and wide—whether a relative, a Jasper High School classmate, a Western Colorado University colleague, or one of the innumerable friends from Australia, Indonesia, or other distant corners of the world.
