Our little boy, Rusty, was limping this morning and crying out in distress. I thought he had fallen and injured his leg, so I took him to the cat repair shop. (To get him into his carrying case I told him he was going for spa treatments. He seemed to buy that.) After an examination and imaging, it was determined that he has a blood clot in his leg and indications of heart disease. Long story short, he will need surgery and a hospital stay. I signed papers this evening agreeing to "if there are no complications..." charges of $6,961.79. If there are any other issues, the cost will be greater.

We have never done this before, but this expense is more than we can handle and we are asking for help. We love the little guy very much. We lost his brother, Dusty, last year and we're not ready to say goodbye to Rusty, too. If you are able to make a donation to help us in paying for Rusty's care, we will be very grateful. Thank you.
