Hi. Freya Rain, 19 months old, is my youngest grandchild. She is the daughter of my son, Isaac and his partner Chelsea. She has a big brother, Andrew, who is 5 years old. Freya will be undergoing surgery at Boston Children's Hospital on March 8th. She has a congenital condition called Laryngomalacia. As a result, she has struggled to eat and breathe the entire 19 months of her young life. Freya has never achieved full REM sleep. It causes her significant pain, as well. She may need additional surgeries, depending on the outcome of this one. Costs associated with surgery are extensive. Therefore, I humbly ask friends and family, near and far, for any contribution you are able to donate. Isaac and Chelsea are wonderful, hardworking parents to Andrew and Freya.
