My sister Stephanie is a wife, incredibly loving mother to Addison, daughter, sister , “Aunt Steffy” to my boys Nico and Elias, niece ,cousin and friend. She is a tenured kindergarten teacher dedicated to her students, and loyal to all faculty and parents. She may be quiet and reserved but once you get to know her she is warm, caring and one of the most astonishing people in my life.

As Stephanie was preparing for the upcoming school year, setting up her pristine classroom with decorative bulletin boards and rainbows which she was so passionate about, she received gut wrenching news. She was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 36 years old. She will be undergoing rounds of chemotherapy, surgeries, radiation and hormone therapy. Given this aggressive regimen, she had no choice but to end her school year early which makes life seem uncertain and even more scary.

Life these days is expensive, and even more expensive having a young child in childcare. We want to make sure 2 1/2 year old Addison’s schedule remains stable. I am making this Go Fund Me Page to try to reduce the burden of bills, groceries , unexpected medical bills and day to day. I want her to focus on her health, being a mommy and kicking cancer’s ass.
