My wife/ midwife in medical need

Please ignore any Typos as my wife has a concussion and I am not the most grammatically correct person.
First and foremost :: I wish I knew how much her injury was going to cost and how long it will be before she can serve as a midwife again. We didn't want to put any monetary value in the request, but that is not how this system works. If we had it our way, we would rather not ask for money, however many of you have asked how you can help us out. Mortgage, living expenses, bills, and medical expenses are going to add up fast. I have no idea what this may end up costing us. All I know is my wife is ALIVE, but unable to work. We will do whatever it takes to make her THRIVE again!
My (Midwife)/Wife was in a car accident and has a severe concussion. She had recently started a new job and was super excited to be following her passion of supporting women, families, and catching babies. Many of you know being a Certified Nurse Midwife has been a dream of SJ's for decades. Achieving that goal and catching babies for the past year+ have been a dream come true for her. It is an honor for her to serve her community, nurture families, and welcome babies Earthside. Unfortunately, due to the severity of her concussion she was let go from her new job. After 2 days of working at her new position she was in an accident, resulting in a severe concussion that may take 6-12 months to heal. As a medical provider, neither she nor the birth center could take the slightest risk of unintentional harm to any patient. We understand this and would not have it any other way, as SJ always puts her patients' safety first. Sadly, this has put us in a financially restricted space.
Regrettably, she caused her first motor vehicle accident since receiving her drivers license. Given the fact the accident was her fault, our insurance doesn't cover lost wages for her. Moreover, she had zero PTO time accumulated as she had just started her new position two days prior to the accident. Thankfully, nobody else (besides SJ) was severely injured in the 3 car accident. She was the only person in our vehicle, thus the children are safe.
Unfortunately, we are unable to live off my income, as the majority of it goes to paying for our medical insurance which is amazing, but also very expensive. Our savings was depleted while she attended Georgetown University. To SJ being the best midwife possible meant learning from the best and she wouldn't have it any other way~ hence why she learned from the midwives who wrote the textbooks for all Master's level midwifery programs.
Currently, we are unable to afford our mortgage, bills, etc. , and are seeking any monetary assistance you are able to donate. Any offering is truly appreciated and we sincerely thank you from the depths of our hearts. Her treatments are going to be very expensive and not covered by any of our insurances.
Over the next few weeks we will know more about SJ's brain condition and the course of her treatment. Either myself or a loved one will post updates regarding Sj's condition. If you care to send cards or other forms of encouragement, our address is:
