Help Sharon Fight Breast Cancer & Support Her Three Children
If there’s one person who has spent her entire life showing up for others, it’s Sharon Notarte. She is the most selfless, giving woman I’ve ever met someone who has quite literally poured herself out for every single person around her. As a single mother in California, she has worked tirelessly for years to create stability for her kids, doing everything she could to keep them from having to move yet again in this unpredictable military life. She has carried so much on her shoulders without ever once asking for help.
Now, she needs us.
Sharon is a proud mother of three, and up until recently she was juggling two jobs just to keep her household afloat paying rent, covering bills, keeping up with groceries, and making sure her kids had everything they needed for school and their activities. But everything changed in an instant.
Sharon was recently diagnosed with stage 2–3 HER2-positive breast cancer. She truly believed she could continue working through treatment because that’s who she is. She always toughs it out. But after her first round of chemo, she quickly learned how hard the treatment hits her body. She’s currently unable to return to her main job, and at her second job she can only manage a few hours from home.
With short-term disability covering only 60% of her normal income, she is now struggling just to cover basic living expenses. Their dad helps when he can with groceries and some bills, but with Sharon unable to work, it’s simply not enough. She is doing everything possible to keep a roof over her kids’ heads and maintain some sense of normalcy while she fights for her life.
As much as it breaks her heart to ask for help, Sharon is at a point where she can’t do this alone.
If you are able to donate no matter the amount or even just share this page, it would mean the world. Your support will help her keep her children stable during the most difficult chapter of their lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping this incredible woman in her fight.
