Georgia's IIHF Worlds Campaign

Dear Friends and Family,
On February 27th this year I will be heading over to Prague, Czech Republic for training camp and then onto Jaca, Spain for the IIHF Women's World Championships.
Naturally, I assumed Team Australia would be chartering a private jet to chauffeur me from Canada to Europe. I mean, you can’t get much more dedicated to hockey than moving to the birthplace of the sport, right? So you can imagine how SHOCKED I was to hear I needed to raise money to make the trip possible (flying coach, no less!).
Unfortunately, ice hockey in Australia hasn't quite yet made the level of status as say Canada or the US, so we are self-funded with each athlete paying her own way.
So I’m humbly turning to you, dear friends, asking you to Czech your hearts (and your wallets) to donate whatever you can, big or small. Though it Spains me to beg, it would mean the world to me if you could help me make this journey to Worlds.
Even if you cannot donate, simply sharing this link on your own Facebook that would really help. The more exposure the better for women's hockey in Australia.
And if you so happen to donate the full amount, I will literally give you the jersey off my back – my IIHF game-worn team Australia jersey.
