Help Bring Our Dear Best Friends Husband Home

Dear friends, family, and kind souls,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my best friend Donna and her family, who’ve been struck by an unimaginable tragedy. Their amazing dad—a wonderful husband to Donna, a loving stepdad, and a true rock for his kids—passed away unexpectedly while on holiday in Egypt. On just the second day of their trip, he fell gravely ill and tragically passed in the pool. The loss is devastating, and the family needs our help to bring him home.

This man was one of a kind—a husband/dad who lit up every room with his warmth, humor, and endless love for his family. He was Donna’s soulmate and a father figure who made everyone feel cared for. His sudden passing has left the family heartbroken and facing overwhelming challenges.

Two of the boys flew out to Egypt right away to sort things out, but they’ve hit a painful snag. The insurance company won’t cover the costs, and bringing his body back in a coffin is simply too expensive. After exploring every option, the family found that cremating him in Egypt and covering the hospital and morgue fees is their best shot at bringing him home. They need to raise £3,500 to make this happen and give their dad/husband the dignified farewell he deserves.
