Support Grant’s Fight Against a Brain Tumor

Hi, my name is Sabrina, and I’m reaching out to support my brother-in-law, Grant, during an unimaginably difficult time. Grant has been part of our family since he met my sister, Kelly, in high school. They are high school sweethearts who married in November 2021 and recently welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Millie, in October 2024.

On December 12th, Grant had a seizure at home with Kelly and Millie. After being rushed to Advent Health East, a CT scan revealed a brain tumor and swelling. He was transferred to the Neuro ICU at Advent Health Orlando, where an MRI confirmed the severity of the tumor. Surgery to remove it is scheduled for this upcoming week. After surgery we will await the pathology results for his final diagnosis in order to determine next steps in treatment. We ask for your thoughts and prayers for the best possible outcome and prayers to look over the surgeon.

God works in mysterious ways. Grant’s journey in particular, as he is a registered nurse at Advent Health Orlando Neuro ICU. He has cared for patients with similar diagnoses. Now, he is receiving care from his own colleagues, who have shown him incredible support. We are so thankful to their entire staff, to his friends, for the care they have given Grant.

Due to the severity of this situation Grant will be unable to work for an extended and unknown amount of time. As Grant and Kelly face mounting medical bills, newborn expenses, day-to-day living, and other unexpected costs, we’re asking for your help. This young family deserves to focus on Grant’s recovery and their time together without the added stress of financial burdens—especially during what should be a joyful holiday season.
