Help Save Ava — Emergency Surgery Needed

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my sweet kitten, Ava. She’s a 6-month-old grey tabby who means the world to me.

Recently, Ava did something completely unexpected — after eating her food off a lick mat feeder, she decided to chew and swallow a large piece of the mat itself. Not long after, she began vomiting, and that’s when I realized something was seriously wrong. When I checked the mat, a big chunk was missing.

I rushed her to the vet right away. She was able to vomit up some pieces, but unfortunately, there are still multiple particles inside her that aren’t passing on their own. The vet has confirmed that these remaining pieces are scattered and could lead to a dangerous blockage. The only safe option now is emergency surgery to remove them.

This was completely unexpected, and unfortunately, I’m not financially prepared for this kind of urgent procedure. Without treatment, this can quickly become life-threatening.
