Help My Mom
Donation protected
Since coming to this country, my mom has faced repeated adversity and financial hardship. She was in an abusive marriage and had to scrape by as a single mother living off paycheck to paycheck. My whole life I've known my mom to do nails and she had become invested enough to become a manager at a nail salon in Maryland. This last year, she was offered the opportunity to buy out the owner of the salon and therefore acquiring her very own business. It was a huge stride towards attaining the success she is so deserving of. However, COVID-19 was not something that could've been predicted and many businesses are failing as a result, including hers. I am asking those who can to help support her and help her keep her business. Minority and immigrant-owned businesses are in great need right now. As her only form of family, I wish I could provide more for her but like many of us, I am also unemployed. I am hoping in making this GoFundMe that it can get her through the stay at home order; preventing bankruptcy and homelessness. I really appreciate you taking the time to read this, anything helps!
