Yesterday we lost a husband, father, and friend in a fatal car accident.  He left behind a 17 year old daughter who will be going to prom, graduating from high school and selecting her college without her father this year. My son 12 years old is in eighth grade, who just started soccer season, will be going to practice and games without his father, who was one of his biggest supporters.

The norm that my kids were used to  having him just a phone call away has been taken away.

This was an unsudden accident that none of us expected. He was 46 years old, full of life and a go getter.  He loved hiking and taking walks and especially spending time with his kids.He will definitely be missed!
