Ky’s Eye Surgery

Hey everyone! I’ve decided to start a Go Fund Me for my cousin, Nadalya, and her 2 year old son, Ky, who has cataract eye surgery coming up next week. Nadalya is doing everything she can as a single, working mom to tend to Ky’s needs full-time without much support. Please help me help her with covering medical expenses, Ky’s recovery needs and general daily expenses as she will be unable to work for months to come while she tends to all of little Ky’s needs.

Before age 1 it was discovered that little Ky had cataracts developing in his eyes and since then this Momma has done everything she can to help improve Ky's quality of life day in and day out. She constantly has to take time off of work to take him to ophthalmology appointments, occupational therapy and the Perkin’s School for the Blind where she works with therapists to improve Ky’s vision. This includes patching up to 3 hrs a day and wearing a specialized contact in order to see through his eye.

He has already gone through one corrective eye surgery before age 1 and has many more to come throughout his life (7-9 TBD depending on overall development). These surgeries will hopefully help him have a better quality of life and avoid the chances of complete blindness and/ or glaucoma.
