11/06/2021 Kyra Nelson was involved in a fatal car crash while traveling over the pass from CWU to Wenatchee. Kyra was a student and cheerleader at CWU, and an alumni of WHS. She was known for her infectious smile and enormous heart. Kyra was kind to everyone she encountered and her positive attitude and encouragement lifted up and inspired those around her. She was a caring and loving daughter, sister, and friend, who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by the countless people she touched in her lifetime.

 

Many who knew Kyra have reached out asking how they can help serve the family while they navigate this unimaginable loss. All funds donated will go directly to Kyra’s family to help cover expenses related to Kyra’s passing.
