Kyra Matsui needs a lawyer to fight for her kids
Maybe you know my dear friend Kyra Matsui as the smiling creative genius behind Iron Lace Design. 
She handcrafts intricate, sparkling Japanese chainmail jewelry and rosaries while her two sons and twin daughters fire blow darts at her head. 
Her store's fans love to hear about her insanely creative kids' hijinks, but Kyra hasn't shared much about the what else goes on behind the scenes. Her situation is now so serious that she needs to hire a lawyer to protect her family.
After a two-year search, she finally found a specialized school that can accommodate the child with the most complex needs. Moving would jeopardize his placement in this school.
All four children have special needs, and their care includes countless expensive and time-consuming trips to meetings and appointments, and sometimes all-night medical vigils. Kyra does not drive and must rely on public transportation. The kids attend three different schools.
Kyra often functions on very little sleep. The various medical professionals and social workers who have heard her describe her daily life tend to stand there, gaping, asking things like, "How . . . are you alive?"
Because the legal case is ongoing, we're not free to share details, but the situation is dire.
Kyra has worked so hard to put together some stability for her family, but that stability is now in legal peril. With $5000, she can retain a lawyer who will fight for security and freedom for the family, so their basic needs -- child support, disability support, a home -- can be protected, and she can work and care for her family in peace. 
Kyra is one of the warmest, most generous women I've ever met. Even in the midst of the most intense personal crisis, she rushes to comfort and encourage other people, and her courage and good cheer are close to miraculous.
