Hi friends,

We met the initial goal of $5000 to help our girl Kyra. THANK YOU EVERYONE! You all have given Kyra a renewed sense of hope and a future! But really so much more will be needed to get her the necessary medical procedures to keep that beautiful heart going. Initially the hope was just to get her home and give her hope and we all have done that by exceeding the original goal. But I say let’s show her that we don’t just want her back home, we want to be sure she is in a position to receive every necessary medical treatment she needs. I have no clue how much it will cost for her to receive dialysis to prevent complete renal failure but I am bumping up the goal to $10,000 since so many have generously almost gotten us there. And although I am sure the cost and expense of all that she needs is far greater, we can revisit that possibly at a later time. Please note, this is not, in any way just wanting more money. This was me setting the goal way too conservatively. And I want to ensure everyone that these donations are solely going towards getting Kyra out of her current situation in Florida, and back home to those who can care, love and support her and for her to get the necessary medical treatments to save her life.

I am starting this go fund me for our dear friend and classmate, Kyra Ingemansson, in an effort to raise enough funds to get her moved back to california where she can receive the medical treatments she is in dire need. Currently Kyra is living alone in Florida, and has until this Monday to be out of her apartment. I myself just came back from visiting her to help her pack but when I arrived she was back in the hospital where she has been in and out of constantly. I had just one day left by the time she was released to do as much as I could and she still has far to go. Kyra is suffering from renal failure, heart failure, to name just the most serious of her conditions. If she doesn’t get back home and receive dialysis, and soon, the outcome is one I cannot bare to imagine. She has so much life and love and joy to share with us all and she still has that beautiful spark we all know and love! So please, I’ve done all I can up to this point and wish I didn’t have to ask for help, and Kyra reluctantly has agreed to let me do this. To not start a gofundme would be accepting her fate to end in Florida, alone and not with those who love and will care her back to health. Anything that is raised will go directly to getting her back home, help with moving her belongings into storage, and any medical bills that she has and will incur over these next few months. However the priority right now is getting her moved and home which is why I am only asking for $5,000. Honestly, absolutely anything will help — and will go towards bringing our girl home. So please, I’m pleading on behalf of my dear friend, our classmate, that beautiful vivacious bubbly spirit that needs us and I know she will forever be grateful to each and everyone of us that can help with as much or as little as you can spare on her behalf.
