Kynlee Chaffee’s Recovery

Neither Angie nor Cody are the type of person to ask for help. However, they are the type of people that will go out of their way to help anyone. Their 8-year-old daughter Kynlee was in an accident on 8-6-2020 while riding on a Ranger. She was taken by EMS to Manhattan where they quickly realized she had extensive injuries. Kynlee was flown to Children’s Mercy hospital in Kansas City. When she arrived, the doctors determined she had a kidney laceration, a severely broken pelvis, head lacerations and a broken arm. This will require multiple surgeries. Kynlee also had a lot of blood in her chest, so a chest tube and central line were placed prior to her family reaching her in KC. Thankfully, she stabilized this morning after receiving 5 units of blood.
Kynlee is facing multiple surgeries and rehabilitation on her long journey of healing. All while being several hours away from her 3 sisters. If you are able, please give what you can to assist this wonderful family so that they may focus on Kynlee’s recovery instead of mounting medical bills.
