"Prayers for Jade"
Wednesday March 4/Jade started her chemotherapy and radiation treatments today. They had not called in her anti nausea medication so, she threw up all day. We picked them up this evening before radiation. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. Would you all please join me in Prayer that these treatments KILL and DESTROY this evil and that it NEVER EVER RETURNS !!! In Jesus name I pray. Thank you and God bless you all !
Jade update: she will be coming home from inpatient rehab Thursday. She will continue with outpatient rehabilitation. She is getting stronger every day. I know she is glad to be coming home. Her first oncology appointment is scheduled for February 20th and will see her surgeon on February 28th. She has a long road ahead of her but, as I have said before she is the strongest person I know. She has been through a lot in her short 18 years of life. I again want to thank each of you for your love, support and Prayers for Jade. I am so thankful and grateful for my wonderful family and friends. I love you all ! And may God bless you. My Mama took this picture of Jade the other day. Rehab wears her out. My beautiful Angel. I love her with all my heart and soul !
From Cindy:UPDATE: Pathology results in it's stage 3 Cancer. In a month she will start chemotherapy which she will have to do for a year. Also, 6 weeks , 5 days a week radiation. She will have MRIs every 3 months and then every 6 months. Then she will need one once a year for the rest of her life. Not the results I was Praying for however, Jade is a very strong little girl and I know she will win this battle! She also has the best surgeon and oncologist who I have great faith in. I really appreciate all of ya'lls love and support. Please continue to pray for my baby girl !
Will Moorefield and I have been friends with Cindy Ford Eller for a very long time. We wanted to do something to help Cindy and her daughter by setting up this GoFundMe Page. Cindy's daughter, Jade Hurd is only 18 years old and is in the hospital recovering from brain surgery. This past Saturday, January 11, Jade was involved in a car accident that totalled her car. When she was brought into the hospital, the doctors found a mass on the front part of her brain the size of her fist. After several doctors studied the MRI, they decided to perform surgery to remove the tumor on Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Jade had been suffering from severe headaches but her doctor originally told her to just monitor them. We truly feel like the accident was God's way of letting them know about the tumor. At this time Jade is in ICU recovering and getting stronger every day. We are waiting for the results from pathology, hoping to get them back today or Monday at the latest. She is in Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. We are asking for prayers and if you can help this family with a donation we would be forever grateful. Cindy is going to be out of work for a while helping Jade recover. No amount is too small. Thank you and please pray for Jade!!
