KYMM BOWTHORPE & FAMILY NEED HELP
Sometimes in life, the horrible unexpected happens. And it happened to our dear Kymm.
She most suddenly found herself with brain cancer with six masses, including one on her brain stem, as well as cancer cells in her lungs, all due to stage 4 Melanoma, the worst stage. It quickly proceeded to affect her speech, mobility and eyesight. She also faced a quick high risk of respiratory and heart function loss. Thus, she has started emergency full brain radiation to hopefully decrease the masses, if not get rid of them, plus make her more comfortable and functional.
And here's the immediate problem. Though her healthcare has some time, she faces losing her home by March due to losing her income in February! And because of being in Flagstaff, her mortgage is high. We can't lose her house. She has a chance, if the ten session brain radiation is successful, to come home when she will be begin immunotherapy as an outpatient to promote her own immune function to further fight the cancer cells in her body.
But that's not all. She can lose her only vehicle--the one her daughter has to use for those potential, future outpatient immunotherapy treatments. Her daughter's little car was left in Florida, and it doesn't have 4-wheel drive--a necessity in snowy Flagstaff.
And then there are those insurance premiums which will be on her shoulders.
Any funds you can contribute will specifically pay the house mortgage, first and foremost, plus utilities and insurance premiums, and hopefully the car payment.
We hope you have something to give to help our dear Kymm and Julia in this challenging situation.
P.S. There are more in this team that weren't available for this photo. We love you all.
