Kymani Tanaka Maimba

Kymani was just 19 and died suddenly in a tragic swimming pool accident whilst enjoying his first holiday with friends in Tenerife on 26 July 2025.

He had a huge heart and was loved by all he knew. He was full of life and joy. His presence brought so much light and happiness to everyone who surrounded him. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances.

Apart from the repatriation of his body back to the UK, there will be two burials; one for his body and another later one for his organs. The organs are currently being retained in Tenerife for some time by the Coroner. All funeral costs, which are likely to exceed £10k.

As you can imagine there have been costs incurred coupled with what they have spent to go to Tenerife to organise everything. We are therefore asking for any donations, however small, via this gofundme link to assist the family during this time.
