Hello all! We are fundraising for Kylie!!.. Kylie is a 14yr old independant young lady who loves cheerleading for SVEC, challenger youth baseball, girlscouts, animals, and shopping... Kylie has a very rare Neuromuscular disease that prevents her from doing many things that most kids her age enjoy. She can walk, but very little, she is mostly bound to a wheelchair and powerchair.
Kylie keeps a positive attitude despite her daily challenges and struggles. She is always smiling and happy with a BIG heart.
We are fundraising for a wheelchair van for Miss Kylie. As she ages she strives to do more things with her peers while utilizing her powerchair. Currently she can only use her powerchair (which gives her so much more independence) at home or school. Otherwise she uses a manual wheelchair, which requires her to depend on someone else to get her where she wants to go. The wheelchair van would allow her to take the powerchair wherever she goes and give her more independence and much easier for her to do all the activities she loves to do.
All funds raised will go towards the purchase of a new wheelchair van for Kylie. Any funds raised beyond our goal will be used for home modifications to help kylie with her independence in her room and bathroom.
