In Loving Memory of Our Beautiful Mum, Kylie

Our mum, Kylie, was the heart and soul of our family. She loved music, she loved to dance, and she loved her two daughters and her grandchildren more than anything in this world.

Whether it was a song playing in the kitchen or music at a family gathering, Mum couldn’t help but move. Dancing was her joy. It was how she celebrated life, how she connected with us, and how she made ordinary moments feel special. Some of our most precious memories are of her laughing, singing along to her favourite songs, and pulling us up to dance with her.

Kylie fought an incredibly brave battle with frontotemporal dementia and breast cancer. Frontotemporal dementia slowly changed parts of who she was, and breast cancer tested her strength in ways no one should have to endure. But through it all, her love for her daughters and grandkids never faded. Even on the hardest days, we could still see that deep love in her eyes.

She was a devoted mum, a proud and adoring nan, and the kind of woman who put her family first in everything she did. Her hugs felt like safety. Her laughter filled a room. Her love was unconditional and fierce.

As we try to navigate life without her, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of her memorial and give her the farewell she truly deserves — one filled with love, music, and the warmth she brought to everyone around her.
