Kylie Esh Cancer Treatment Relief Fund

My best friend, Kylie Esh, was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer affecting soft tissue. I pray for her full recovery and want to help her family.

After a year and a half of physical therapy aimed at lessening the pain Kylie was enduring in her abdomen (as it was thought that she had a sports-driven injury), surgery identified a tumor growing in Kylie. The tumor was removed and biopsied and Kylie was diagnosed with this rare cancer.

Kylie is a stellar college athlete. She just finished her sophomore year playing golf on scholarship for University of Montana. I am so proud of her as she is the #1 Lady Griz golfer today! She is driven, dedicated, focused and one of the hardest working people I know. She also has a huge heart and is the best of friends to everyone she meets. She graduated from Loyola Sacred Heart with honors, was homecoming queen, and won the Golf State Championship her junior and senior years. Kylie most recently placed second in The Lady Thunderbird Invitational Golf Tournament at Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah. This tournament was the last of the season this year as Covid-19 struck.

Now Kylie and her  family are faced with so many unknowns and upcoming expenses. I hope to help the Esh family minimize expenses and reduce the stress they are certain to encounter over the next several months. Kylie will travel to Seattle June 3rd to meet with a specialist and is hopeful for a treatment plan (expected to require another surgery and radiation) that can ensue in Missoula. If not, multiple trips to Seattle will be required. The medical and travel expenses that are forthcoming were certainly not planned for the by the Esh family. Kylie's mom is a teacher at St. Joseph's Elementary and her dad is a golf pro, teaching many, including children, the sport he and Kylie love - golf. Kylie's sister attends and plays golf for Loyola Sacred Heart High School.

Like me, so many people want to help and Covid-19 makes it difficult as we need to keep Kylie safe.  So I set up this gofundme page for the Esh Family so anyone interested in helping can do so.  All the money will go to the Esh family to apply to travel and medical expenses.

Love and prayers for my warrior friend and her family and friends,

Shealee
