Miracle Kylie!!!!
The morning of Friday 9th June 2023 after weeks of debilitating headaches. Kylie was fresh out of the shower, barely dressed, needing to go food shopping when the intensity of head pain had her collapse.
Lucky to the fast response of her sons, the Ambulance was called while the boys dressed their Mum. Awaiting hospital admission Kylie cardiac arrested, with paramedic critical care she was brought back to life in the back of the Ambulance.
The hours to follow made June long weekend the longest weekend for her family and close friends. Two aneurysms found in her brain. Saturday evening brain surgery. The expected outcome was unknown. The days led into induced coma, weeks of High intensive care, the boys not being able to get to speak to their Mum. Unknown the outcome from the burst aneurysm. How much of their Mum had they lost?
We thank the expertise of SA Ambulance, the Surgeons and all who cared for Kylie.
Her dear Mum at her bedside everyday.
Weeks later Kylie commenced rehabilitation with Occupational Therapists. On the scale of recovery the Neuro Surgeons are impressed with her healing recovery. Kylie's care and love for her family had her tears flowing from when she woke. Her care for what her boys have been through. They have already lived over half their lives with trauma & loss. Just over 10 years ago, still in primary school they lost the most important man in their life. Dirk Kylies husband, the boys Dad passed away after months of battling terminal cancer.
The family has never asked for help but battled privately.
Life has changed, Kylie can no longer drive. She can not get any in home help or disability benefit, it takes 2 years to see if she is deemed to have permanent disability.
Kylie is category 1, having her next surgery for the other aneurysm on Monday 13th November.
I'm asking for your help in any way you can.
Donation of money will pay a household bill, ready cooked meals and support to the family the next few months during surgery, hospital time and rehabilitation.
If theres anything you can offer to support our dear friend.
Please share and prayer for Kylie's full recovery and strength to her boys.
