Kylie and Solon's Medical Fund

We are Barb Link and Mackenzie Cooper. We are asking for your help in funding for medical expenses for our friend Kylie and husband Solon.

Kylie (founder/owner of Annie Ruth Co.) and husband Solon Pietila were involved in a car accident last summer. While it initially appeared that injuries were minor, time has drastically changed that narrative. Kylie has post concussion syndrome (PCS) from a traumatic brain injury that is affecting vision, memory, and speech. She also has some muscular and neurological issues from the impact. This makes it nearly impossible to lift her little girl, or at times is unable to be present to fulfill orders placed at her business. Solon has a ruptured disc in this lower back that he is working through alternative therapies in hopes to avoid a future surgery that would change his quality of life.

Why we need your help:

The cost of medical appointments, treatments, and upcoming surgeries is overwhelming. Despite the severity of injuries and pain, Solon continues to work, while Kylie is at the storefront "not letting people down" everyday that she possibly can. Without these medical steps, life is very uncertain for this couple.

To know Kylie and Solon is to know two selfless and giving hearts. They continue to invest into helping others ahead of themselves.
