Don protégé
Hello dear friends, family, and generous people that I have not yet met,
My sweet sister is having a run of bad luck. Kylie's border collie and best friend, Sadie, got into a broken bottle of llama dewormer and poisoned herself this past Saturday. Kylie didn't see it happen or know what was wrong. The poor little pup was having seizures and had to be rushed to the vet hospital where she will remain for a few more days. Thankfully, she's awake and expected to recover, but may live out her days as a blind dog.
On top of that, the drive shaft of Kylie's truck fell out last week and she had to buy a new, used car on the fly. (There is a country song here waiting to be written.)
The expense of that, compiled with a $3000 vet bill and a very sick dog, is taking a toll on my generally contented sister's well-being.
Since she's too far away for a chicken soup delivery, I thought some fundraising may be just the thing to cheer her up.
Please, if you can, give a little. It would mean a lot.
