My name is Svea, I am a close friend/co-worker to Coleen Welton.
Many of you have already supported the family since Kyles tragic accident on February 25, 2016. Last week August 25, 2016 Kyle was diagnosed with acute leukaemia. He is now at Vancouver General Hospital recieving treatment.
The road will be long and tiring. The plan is for the next month Kyle will be recieving aggressive treatment. For further information on updates and progress see Coleen Welton's Facebook page.
The family has been extremely grateful for all your thoughts and prayers. Many people have asked if there is anything the family needs. As of August 31, 2016 the family are looking for a room to rest their heads at night. They would prefer a home close to VGH. If you know anyone that would be willing to provide them a room temporarily please email me.
