Kyle’s Kidney Campaign
Donation protected
My brother Kyle is the most amazing uncle, friend, and son that anyone could ask for. He has done so much to help others in his life, and it’s time for the role to be reversed.
Kyle has end stage kidney disease. He has been on dialysis since February of 2023. He goes three times a week and each session takes around four hours. Although this is helping him stay alive, it does not give him a high quality of life. He is still extremely sick most days and struggles with day to day activities that many of us take for granted. Costs associated with dialysis and medical treatment for kidney failure are very high.
I’m creating this GoFundMe for him to offset some of his medical bills and try and get the word out to see if there are any possible kidney donors reading this. A live donor kidney transplant is the best option for people with kidney disease. Kyle’s wait time on the UNOS transplant list is currently estimated to be around five years.
Kyle is hesitant about asking for help, but I know there are people out there who love him and would want to do what they can to help make things a little easier for him. Even if you are not in a place to help monetarily, passing this along to those who know Kyle will also be so appreciated. I have included information below on kidney failure and becoming a donor. Eligible donors do not need to be a blood type match with the paired kidney exchange program. If you have ever thought about being a living donor, please consider helping Kyle and changing his life.
