Kyle Brundage's fight against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Noah and I am Katia's brother and Kyle's brother-in-law. As some of you may know Kyle was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia on Thursday, March 28th.
For a month or two before this diagnosis, Kyle became sick and was in and out of the hospital trying to figure out what was going on. A friend urged Kyle to make an appointment at the Mayo Clinic to see if they could figure it out. A day after their appointment Kyle and Kate were notified that Kyle had Leukemia.
Kyle is now in the hospital where he is receiving treatment including chemotherapy. For now, Kyle will be staying at Mayo Clinic for at least a month. If Kyle and Katia have taught me anything throughout their time together it's how to be tough and a fighter. I am without a doubt that as they begin this journey they will continue to exhibit this quality, that we should all look to them as an example of.
Thoughts and prayers are needed and if you feel inclined please donate to help relieve the cost of medical bills so Kyle can continue to focus on this fight. Kyle and Kate's appreciation for your kindness and friendship throughout this is without measure.
If you would like to stay up to date with Kyle's journey, here is a link to his Caring Bridge site: Kyle's Caring Bridge.
Additionally, once Leukemia is sent into remission a bone marrow transplant is required to help the patient heal. Please consider signing up to be put on a bone marrow transplant registry here.
