Kyle's back surgery

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Jessica.
As some of you may know my brother Kyle has been suffering from severe back pain. If not, then here is a brief story. My brother Kyle was in a major motorcycle accident in June, 2015. The lady who hit him had no insurance and he had to use his own. He suffered from 3 herniated disks in his back, broken ribs, a punctured lung and a herniated disk in his neck. At the time it wasn’t bad enough for surgery. He underwent 6 months of physical therapy and epidural injections. Recently the pain has been getting worse. It was so bad that he fell after trying to pick a towel up off of the floor and he was unable to get back up. His neighbor had to come and pick him up off the floor and put him on the couch. He went to his orthopedic and had MRIs done (the image you see above). His orthopedic said he needed a second opinion. Kyle went to a spine surgeon where he explained that the outer layer of the disk was fractured allowing the center "gel" portion of the disc to be able to push out into the spinal canal. The disc is pushing against the spinal cord causing excruciating pain. My brother is very dedicated, to his friends, family and job. He has always helped us, as well as my parents, whenever they needed it. Recently he lost his job of 2.5 years due to new management. He will not be able to get a job now for the next 3 months until the surgery is done and he has recovered. Kyle has always paid it forward. For example, in May 2012 he contributed to saving a woman’s life in a roll over car accident. He was first on scene and was able to get her and her dog out of the car as the car caught on fire. This saved her and her dog from further injury. Another example, last year a Broward sheriff's officer approached Kyle and asked if he knew how to work on cars. Of course he replied yes! The cop explained to him that a mother of 4 children living out of a hotel, had a truck that was overheating. So Kyle on his lunch break followed the officer to the lady's truck. He figured out what was wrong with it and the next day after work Kyle bought her the parts with his own money and fixed her truck free of charge, (http://www.local10.com/news/local/bso-deputy-off-duty-mechanic-help-mother-stranded-by-overheating-car). That’s just the type of person Kyle is. Always there to help someone no matter what. My brother would give you the shirt off his back, and be cold, just to warm you up. After losing his job, and then finding out he needs to have back surgery, I ask of you to please “PAY IT FORWARD” and help my brother out in this difficult time. I thank everyone for taking the time to read this and I am wishing for your support.

Love,
JESSICA
