In Kyler Korsmo's Memory
Donation protected
Many of you, if not all, know about a close friend of mine, Kyler Korsmo, recently and unexpectedly passing away a few weeks ago.
Myself and many of Ky's friends (Alex Ardiente, Andrew Johnson, Ben Adams, Beth Buechner, Connor Corr, Jack Story, Kiana Klepper, Ryan Varnum, Meghan Hennessey, Michelle Fieser, Olga Barajas and many many others) have taken the initiative to show our appreciation for Ky's parents, Chris and Wayne Korsmo. Chris and Wayne had the difficult task of dealing with late night parties, an unfathomable amount of mouths to feed, and most importantly a roof for all of Ky's friends to call their 2nd home.
We all represent the memory of Kyler Korsmo, our beloved friend. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people in a deep and meaningful way. One of his closest friends expressed it this way, “Ky was a light in all of our lives. There isn't one memory I have of him where I'm not smiling. His charisma and loving personality will live in me forever.” May those memories endure within us all since life without him will never be the same.
I would like to invite you all to make a donation to Ky's loving parents. Whether you're a Husky, a Coug, a high school friend, a North Central Little Leaguer, an acquaintance, or you met Ky once, we're all in this together.
Chris and Wayne have not (and would have never) asked us to put something like this together. We want to give something back for everything they have done for us over the years. So please, go to www.gofundme.com/kylersmemory to make your donation. This gofundme campaign will represent our love for Kyler in the form of a positive act of kindness.
Kyler's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 9th, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Northgate Community Center, 10510 5th Ave NE, Seattle, WA. We hope to see you there.
For all those who knew Kyler, please share this post and spread the word.
