Kyler's cancer treatment.

Kyler has been diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma/Leukemia. While this cancer is very aggressive, and treatment is even moreso, but it responds very well to treatment, and thus we are already seeing great improvement after just 2 cycles of chemotherapy.
Kyler has always been a very healthy child. Shortly after Thanksgiving, we noticed he had an enlarged lymph node. We had been told it was viral, so we went home and treated with rest, tylenol, and ibuprofen. After a week had passed and no improvements, we went back to have him seen. This time, it was assumed to be bacterial. We tried 5 days of cephalexin, followed by 3 days of augmentin. Once again, no improvement. Up until now, he was still eating and drinking, until one day he just stopped everything. We went to the ER and with bloodwork alone, they came in and told us they believe our son has cancer and needs to be medflighted to Denver ASAP, so Kyler and I(his mother) were flown to Denver that evening.
Within 2 short weeks, he went from running around and riding his fourwheeler, to being bedridden and unable to walk, and his poor body had started to swell. Within a day or two of arriving at Denver Children's Hospital, he was put on CRRT, and therefore sedated with a ventilator to keep him breathing. This cancer grows aggressively, but it also dies off quickly, and his kidneys could not keep up with the tumor lysis (dying cancer cells). During which time, his CT scan showed that he had the tumor on his neck (the only one we could see), one at the base of his skull, his kidneys and pancreas had been infiltrated with the cancer, as was his manible, sinuses, and orbits - we also shortly find out that 80% of his bone marrow was also filled with cancer. Many tests, a stroke alert, and approximately 4 days later he wakes up and we find out that he is now blind. It is unknown if the cancer infiltrated his optic nerve, a tumor compressed his optic nerve, or if the remodeling of the bone from the bone marrow infiltration is now compressing the nerves. We don't have many answers for this yet, but as treatments have moved forward, we do feel as though he might be starting to see some light/shadow differences, but he cannot tell us, so it is all speculation at this point.
The reason we have started this Go Fund Me is because his father and I have been at his side and unable to work. His dad will start work soon, as we are finally in a stable place that will allow Kyler to be discharged, but we are also anticipating a lot of hospital visits for labs, chemotherapy, referrals for his vision loss, physical therapy, occupational therapy, as well as speech therapy. He has gone through two chemotherapy cycles, and he is scheduled for 4 more - approximately every 28 days. He has had a harder time clearing one of his chemotherapies, so he will be hospitalized until clearance each time. With everything that has happened, his delayed clearance of chemo, his vision loss, it makes sense to stay in Denver near the hospital to give him the best chance at beating this cancer.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share, as that is helpful as well.
