April 22, 2022 was a life-changing day for Lisa and Loren Novacek. Their son, Kyler, who was just one week away from graduating from Eaton High School, was in a serious car accident. He broke his C-5 vertebrae in his neck. He was taken to Banner Hospital in Greeley where they quickly realized they were not equipped to treat a spinal cord injury. They transferred him to Medical Center of the Rockies by helicopter. MCR acted quickly and took Kyler into surgery. They took out the broken vertebrae and put in hardware that would support his neck. He spent 20 days in the ICU at MCR where the staff took incredible care of him. On May 11, Kyler was transferred to Craig Hospital in Englewood CO. Craig is world renowned, more specific for the care of spinal cord injuries. Kyler’s care team is doing amazing things with him. It’s going to be a long, hard road for this young man and his family but they have the power of Jesus and we all know that He makes the impossible POSSIBLE! They continue to hold Kyler up to the perfect plan of God and ask that you do the same. As you can imagine this will put a financial strain on the family in many ways. Please help us support them as they maneuver through these tough times.
