Kyler and his Dads recovery

Murder attempt by vehicle on october 13th 2018 near Melville Saskatchewan on a family hunting/camping trip our lives changed forever. A person decided to commit suicide and strike my vehicle in a head on collision. We were on a single lane highway and travelling at highway speeds. Once the collision occured we were all trapped in my truck. It was about an hour until another vehicle came down the highway to find us ( I have nightmares every night that we were trapped and started on fire) . It was myself, my son Kyler, a friend of mine named Mike and his dog named Gracie. The four of us all sustained life threatening injuries. By the time help arrived it was maybe 1.5 hrs. My son Kyler at the age of 8 became unresponsive so STARS took him on a path to Regina with the helicopter. On their journey to Regina Kyler stopped breathing. STARS had to do an emergency landing in Fort Quappelle hospital. STARS called the Fort hospital and told them to be ready. They came in hot, landed and it took them hours and hours to revive my son Kyler, they put him on life support and made him stable enough to continue the journey to Regina. The Fort Quappelle hospital along with STARS saved my sons life at that point!!!!!. There is a write up about what they had to do to save Kyler and it was truly a miracle in itself. Kyler then flew into Regina where they couldn't help him. He then got back into STARS and they flew him to Saskatoon to the childrens intensive care. Kyler was eventually released from the hospital about a week later. Kyler snapped out of his life support within a few days and was full of piss and vinegar and wanted out of the hospital. He was released about a week later with strict instructions since he sustained a major brain injury. He was not to go to school, daycare or do anything at all. Basically sit and do nothing. He couldn't even read a book. He was to be under supervision from his mother 24/7 as she is a nurse and no better person to watch him. My son and I are starting this Go Fund me account because my son has a brain injury and had the dream of becoming a lawyer when he gets older, I have a severely broken calcanus (heel bone) severely broken right elbow, and major neck injuries. I will never be able to work again in the field I was trained in. Its been more than 9 months and I cant't walk. My son and I are now injured for life because a mentally ill person decided to take his life and use the vehicle he was driving as a weapon and try to take our lives as well in an attempted murder. The insurance we have is not adequate to sustain our way of living. We will never recover and have a reasonable life. The Phsychological injuries the both of us have can not be explained nor imagined by a regular person. As we all know there was a tragedy and the Humbolt  Broncos bus struck by a driver blowing a stop sign. That was an accident!!!! The incident we were involved in was a deliberate attempt to take our lives. If it was an accident it would be far easier to move on with our lives. This was a deliberate attempt to kill us. Like I said, we started this account to try and recover what we lost and will loose in the future. Unfortunately our insurance is doing basically nothing to help us and treating this as a normal accident. This is far worse than an accident or an impaired driver that caused our injuries as a result of accident.   WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP FOLKS!!!
