Thank you for visiting my page. I will be competing in the PGA Professional National Championship (PPNC) on June 18th-21st. The tournament is being played at the Sunriver Resort in Bend, Oregon. I qualified for the PPNC last August by finishing 6th in the South Florida PGA Championship in Naples. The Top 20 finishers at the PPNC earn a spot in this year’s PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte, NC. I have previously competed in the PPNC , I know my competition, and I know if I play to my abilities I can reach my goal to play at the PGA Championship.
I also recently played in a US Open Local Qualifier. I finished 3rd and will be playing in a June 5th Section Qualifier. I should hear this week which section I have been assigned to and I am potentially looking at additional travel costs for that tournament.
As you can imagine, the expenses for me to travel and spend a week in Oregon will be expensive. Between entry fee, airfare, lodging, car rental, gas, caddie fee, food etc. my expenses look to exceed $4,000 for the trip. I am reaching out to you for support managing some of the costs and I have started this GoFundMe page where donations can be made for any amount.
