My name is Brittany Smith and this fundraiser is for Kylee. Kylee is a vibrant beautiful 17 year old teenager and daughter of my very good friend Melissa. Kylee's cancer journey started with a breast lump she located within the past two months. On 10/28/2021 Melissa and Kylee recieved the hardest phone call possible. The pathology report indicated that Kylee has a very rare form of cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS). Rhabdomyosarcoma is a type of sarcoma. Sarcoma is cancer of soft tissue (such as muscle), connective tissue (such as tendon or cartilage), or bone. Though Rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is a common within the pediatric population, the location of Kylee's mass is very rare. Melissa and Kylee will be starting their cancer journey with the pediatric cancer specialists at Nemours. My goal is to help raise this beautiful family enough money to help with medical bills and any finiacial strain that they will endure due to this journey.
