My name is Kylee Vontella, an 18-year-old American. On March 5, 2026, I was driving to another town when my car's ABS / stabilitrak malfunctioned on a notorious turn, and my car was thrust into the canyon's rock wall at somewhere between 35-45 MPH, ruining it.
While I'm medically okay, not having a car is a critical loss in my plan for independence, because I'm estranged from my birth family and my part-time job is not worth a lot, especially in a rural town with limited walkability. I would really appreciate anyone willing to donate money for me to replace my car, as having a vehicle is critical to my success in this area, and I hope to keep my next vehicle throughout my upcoming studies for a Creative Writing BFA at Boise State University beginning in the fall of 2026. Thank you for whatever you can share.
UPDATE 2026-03-21: The car is totaled and was valued at about $100. I had no medical complications and a swift recovery.
(Pictured is a stock photo of my former car, the 2012 Chevrolet Impala. The fundraiser goal of $2500 is how much I paid for that.)
