THE MIRA "KYLE" BEN NEVIS CHALLENGE

My nephew Kyle was diagnosed with Ideopathic Pulmonary Haemosiderosis in April 2013. This is an extremley rare life threatening condition mostly affecting children and young adults. It is characterized by repeat bleeding in the lungs which leads to iron deposits in the lungs and causes shortness of breath, severe anemia and may develop pilmonary fibrosis. There is no known cause for this and unfortunaley no cure. On the 8th December 2013 Kyle was taken into hospital and the doctors didn't hold much hope for him to pull through, but with the help and expertise of the doctors and equipement at Yorkhill hospital coupled with the little fight in Kyle he miraculously pulled through. Hence he holds the current name of "Miraklyle". There is no actual prognosis of what the future holds for Kyle but he is still undergoing regular check ups and medication reviews. This is the very reason why I want to help by organising a wee holiday of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris to create magical memories for them all. Kyle also has a twin brother Cameron and older brother David .

10%  of the money raised will also be donated to Yorkhill Hospital.





On the 26th of July a team of us will be climbing Ben Nevis to support my campaign. This was originally the 31st May but has been a long winter and with the advice from experts and more chance of reaching the summit the date has been amended . . . . The reason we are doing it hasn't :))) best of luck to us all
