Special Agent Kyle Sahagun entered on duty at the FBI Academy on February 12, 2023, with class 23-02A.

Five weeks before graduation, Kyle was diagnosed with cancer after undergoing medical testing.

While managing treatment and recovery at home with his family in Seattle, Kyle worked within the FBI Seattle field office, assisting with case work and being useful for whatever was needed. He maintained his mission to return to the Academy and complete training as soon as possible. He continued to "give back" throughout his courageous battle, sustaining his unflinching "service over self" character.

On July 9, 2025, Kyle passed peacefully surrounded by the love of his family and friends in Seattle after experiencing a medical emergency.

From 2023 to 2025, Kyle underwent extensive medical testing and treatments. This page is dedicated to honoring Kyle and assisting his family in managing his medical expenses.
