KYLE SIPPERLEY’S RECOVERY

Donation protected

Hello everyone,

I am creating this goFundme page for my best friend Kyle Sipperley. Before going into all the details of what is going on, I just want to start of by saying that Kyle is a one of a kind human being. Words can not even describe the amount of love that anyone that knows him, has for him. He is the most selfless person you will ever meet in your entire life, so full of energy and life. Kyle is the kind of person that will take the shirt off his back for a person he doesn’t even know just to see them smile.

With that being said Kyle is going to need some help from all the people that care about him as much as I do.

As a lot of you know from seeing this goFundme page a few years ago, Kyle had to undergo a very serious brain tumor removal surgery in 2016, and this page was open to help with the recovery. Kyle had a long hard recovery but he did eventually fully recover and has been living his life to the fullest for the last year.

But back in the beginning of July Kyle what was supposed to have his last follow up MRI in Grand Rapids with his surgeon to make sure everything was gone and he was in the clear, Unfortunately they found another tumor.

Kyle had another set of scans done yesterday 9/11 and met with his surgeon. He is having surgery on Monday September 23rd. It’s going to be a risky one. The tumor looks to be wrapped in with a blood vessel which will make it very hard to get out, and if he isn’t able to remove the tumor without causing damage to the blood vessel he will close him back up. At that point the first step would be to let the tumor grow for another couple of months, so it would be big enough to start removing pieces that grew out away from the blood vessel in hopes the rest would come off at the same time. If that doesn’t work,  he will have to have radiation, which would be about a year from now. That’s worst case. Biggest worry from the surgeon is any damage to a blood vessel has a high risk of causing a stroke, and he would lose all motor functions on the right side, the surgeon believes recovery will be 7-10 weeks, but he wouldn’t be surprised if it takes up to 13.

Kyle will have to be off of work for many months and will have a lot of medical expenses coming his way. Anything that you donate, Kyle and his family would greatly appreciate more than you could ever imagine.

If you feel more comfortable sending a card to Kyle, you can send to his parents address where he will be doing most of his recovery at.
