At the age of 25, my little brother Kyle was diagnosed with Grade 4 Giloblastoma cancer - a terminal brain tumor.
In the last 30 months, Kyle has fought so hard. He survived 2 major surgeries to remove the tumor, including Chemo and Radiation. As well as countless medications. Most recently, Kyle was blessed with a clinical trial - BXQ 350 at the University of Kentucky. He was only one month into the trial when the tumor became too much to fight.
My brother is now on a ventilator and in a comfortable medically induced coma.
We haven't left his side in days.
As we prepare for Kyle to finally be at peace and no longer have to fight this monster in the form of cancer, we ask that you keep us all in your thoughts. Kyle will leave behind his beautiful daughters - Taylor, 10, and Baylee, 6. His Fiance and bestfriend of 16 years, Christy. His siblings - Justin and Kristen, along with Mom and Dad, and his beloved Chocolate lab, Gunner.
An overwhelming amount of you have asked to help and we are so thankful. Maybe its just sending prayers, a cooked meal in the weeks to come, a gift card to a restaurant, or maybe a donation to help with what comes with the family being out of work and planning a celebration of life. We’re grateful for anything but expect nothing during this unbelievably sad time in our family’s lives.
Kyle was so loved and he fought one hell of a fight. His smile and strength will keep us going in the very tough times ahead.
