Kyle Settle Memorial Fund

We lost an incredible friend and teammate this week in Kyle Settle.  With is wife, Jen, by his side, Kyle passed away on Tuesday, 8/10/21, leaving a terribly painful void in all of our lives.  To DPR, Kyle was an integral part of our Greenville leadership team, a thought leader in preconstruction, and a national subject matter expert for life science.  Kyle was such a unique combination of engineer, farmer, deacon, philosopher and soldier that he is irreplaceable to everyone he touched. 

When I think of Kyle, I think of Fridays when our office was the most full of life.  Friday was the only day he wasn’t the first person in the office because he had his weekly bible study and he treated himself to a Starbucks on his way in to work.  Once we were all situated, Kyle would “grind it out” while still making time to strategize, problem solve, ask, and answer questions.  We would end the work week with a wine bar session to discuss/debate a wide variety of topics (only occasionally work-related).  Then he would close up his laptop, leaving it sit on his desk, so he could head to the farm or the lake to be totally immersed in his family for the weekend.

Although Kyle made such a big impact in his professional life, he always made it clear that he led with his faith and his family.  One of the final things Kyle said to Jen was that he loved her and to "go home and take care of the kids."  Please join us in this memorial fund in Kyle's honor to help Jen do just that.

All funds will be directly sent to Jen and the kids as they navigate this heartbreaking time and help remove some of the financial burden of Kyle's passing.
