We have suffered the loss of an outstanding teammate of ours – Kyle Pehrson. Kyle passed away in car accident earlier this month.
Kyle was a part of our maintenance team at the Nucor Cedar Springs division since October 2013. Kyle was an Electrician by trade – he could probably rewire a whole neighborhood in his sleep! One thing I specifically remember about Kyle was when he was leaving the plant after his shift, he was always covered in black smut from head to toe, shirt untucked, and those blue crocs. He loved to take his boots off and wear those blue crocs!
We are sad not only for the loss of an exceptional individual, but for the loss to his family as well.
Kyle has 3 children, two sons and a daughter, that are now under the care of his father, who is currently bound to a wheelchair due to medical issue.
Our goal is to be able to raise money to assist his father, in supporting his 3 grandchildren.
All proceeds will go to Kyle's father, to support and care for the three grandchildren.
