This is a message from Kyle's mom, Jolene.
I have had several ask me about the results from Mayo's. For Kyle it wasn't what I had hope to hear but with God we will deal with it. When we had his colon cancer and they did scans they seen a small place on his liver. It is not connected with the colon cancer. They have been watching it for two years now. It has grow some each time we go back so they gave him 3 choices. They aren't for sure what it really is let alone if its cancerous or not so he can do one of three choices of which is: 1. watch it another three months 2. have it biopsy but if its cancerous they could possibly loose some cells when taking the needle out. 3. Have surgery and they would have to cut him open (can't do laser because of where it is) and remove the spot and some around it then have it biopsied. He would be in the hospital for 2-4 days then off work for 3-4 weeks. I think he needs to do number 3 that way it's out and he won't have to worry all the time. He's concerned because of the medical cost and he is still paying from his colon surgery and tests. He's scared on how he will pay his house payment and other bill's. I told him he needs to leave it in God's hands. Please pray for him and his choices are the right one. I do think he has choses to do the surgery. Thank you for all the concerns.
Kyle has always been such a soft spoken and kind person! Let us join together to help him during this time. Please lift him up in your prayers and help the West Prairie High School Class of 2004 in supporting him during this challenging time in his life.
