Kyle Lebert & Family Support Fund
Donation protected
On Wednesday January 20th at approximately 7:00 am, Kyle was driving his 3yr old daughter to school, and then would normally continue on to work like any other normal day. Unfortunately on this day, Kyle’s life would be devastatingly altered.
While heading southbound on Hwy 10 just north of Orangeville, a northbound vehicle crossed into Kyle’s lane and struck his car head on. The force of the impact caused Kyle’s car to roll over and end up upside down in the ditch. A good Samaritan was able to remove his daughter from the car, but Kyle required extraction by emergency responders. Only through sheer good luck, did his daughter escape with relatively minor injuries.
Kyle was not so lucky. Kyle was airlifted to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, where he underwent nearly 9 hours of emergency surgery. He suffered a broken pelvis, left femur broken in two spots, and a torn abdomen that required internal reconstructive surgery.
Kyle is self employed, and works as a transport refrigeration technician/contractor servicing the trucking/transportation industry. He has served this industry diligently and proudly for well over a decade. Kyle is the primary source of income for their young family (wife & two daughters aged 5 and 3)
Given the extent of Kyle’s injuries, hospitalization, and undoubtedly lengthy recovery path, it will be a significant period of time before he will be able to provide a steady source of income for his family.
Knowing Kyle, he would be far too proud to ever ask for help, but you can be sure if you needed help, Kyle would be the first one to offer. It’s our turn to now show that same support back to him.
I know that everyone is struggling right now with Covid and the damaging effects it has had on everyone’s health & livelihood, so any amount of support is greatly appreciated!

All funds raised will go directly to Kyle and his family.
