Our names are Ken & Jill Dewdney. We are a part of the Total Oilfield Services Family and one of our family members is in need! Kyle Krogsgaard out of the Whitecourt branch has been diagnosed with a type of cancer called Hepatosplenic T cell lymphoma and is currently undergoing chemo treatments to try and save his life. Part of Kyle’s treatment plan will include a stem cell transplant (via bone marrow) once chemo is complete and a donor is found, this part of the journey will take them to Calgary for an extended period of time. However this is dependent finding a donor. Kyle has a beautiful wife Alison and two gorgeous daughters, Addison & Maren. Most of us can only imagine the kind of mental stress something like this brings to a home never mind the added financial burden it would create especially when a major commute to a larger centre is needed to get the necessary treatment to try and fight this terrible disease. If we all band together and give a little of our mad money then maybe we can make life a little less financially stressful for Kyle and his girls! I know Kyle would do it for us. He has been a supporter to my Meals on Wheels Foundation every year. He has a very kind and generous heart. This is a time in someone’s life that family, friends and neighbours can make a huge difference.
