This account was created to help pay the medical bills for Kyle Mathew Hansen.
It is with great sadness to share the news that we suddenly lost Kyle on February 4th, 2021. He had been fighting a bad cold and tried getting better at home for several days not realizing what he had, turned into pneumonia & sepsis. By the time he arrived at the ER, they said Kyle's situation was critical. Had he not come when he did, he was only hours away dying. The ER doctor fought hard to find a hospital bed for him here in Tulsa; she said his body would not survive the travel time anywhere else. Five hours later she finally found one at St. Francis South only to realize once he was there that his organs were already shutting down from the sepsis and immediately needed transferred to St. Francis Main to start dialysis. The doctors fought hard for Kyle. They attempted 21 different procedures to save his life. Kyle fought just as hard. His mom & sister flew in from Tacoma Washington, arriving at the hospital by 3:30pm, but too much damage had already been done. Kyle left this life at 6pm. We truly believe he held on so his mom & sister could say goodbye. He was only 39.
Kyle leaves behind a wife and two children and many other family members and friends who are devastated. He was the owner of Advanced Combat in Tulsa, OK. Kyle did not have health insurance at the time of his death. Not only is the family still trying to process the loss of Kyle, they now will have to take over the family business.
Many have asked us how they can financially help the Hansen Family with the mounting medical costs. Because of that, this account was created.
We truly thank you for whatever you have on your heart to give. There are not enough words of appreciation for your thoughtfulness and caring hearts.
