Help Kyle on his road to recovery!

6/28/2022 Kyle was knocked off a 9 foot roof breaking his neck in several places (C5-T2 )resulting in a spinal cord injury and is now paralyzed from the chest down, He had a surgery placing hardware in both the front and back of his neck at Kootenai the day after the accident.

After 3 weeks in the ICU he was flown to Craig hospital in Denver Colorado. On September 30th he had another surgery to repair an esophageal perforation caused by the hardware that became infected and turned septic. In October, they found another perforation but have decided to hold off on surgery in hopes it will heal on its own. After many other complications including multiple UTI’s, fevers, and blood pressure issues, they diagnosed him with Heterotopic Ossification and sent him back to Idaho with medications to treat it. He is currently in another rehab hospital in Post Falls until he is finished with his IV antibiotics. Kyle and his wife Cheyanne have put their entire savings into the home modifications to get kyle home and still need to purchase a wheelchair accessible vehicle needed for kyle to be transported to and from hospital visits and therapy which insurance will not help pay for. Kyle and his wife Cheyanne have two young kids and are also the primary care takers of his grandparents (89 and 91) and their cattle ranch. 36 years young, Kyle is determined to continue to do the things he loves! Anything helps!!
