Kyle Gerber

Our little world lost a kind and generous man on June 6, to a most tragic illness, depression. Kyle always thought of others first, I think this is a fitting request to make in his true benevolent spirit. He was the most giving person many of us knew, and as they say, “he would give you the shirt off his back.” It would be hard to find a man who did more for others than he did. He truly lived his life in service to others every day. However, what you might not know about Kyle is that he was self employed and did not have life insurance shouldering his already grieving family to pay for funeral expenses and help two boys on their paths to adulthood. Along with all of us friends and family that are grieving the loss of Kyle, so are his two sons he loved so dearly. They have grief that may never heal with the loss of their father. I am hoping we can all help in some way, big or small. Maybe this might allow us a little satisfaction in the crushing sadness of it all.

I am attempting to reach out to all the people that Kyle has touched and to those friends of friends that are looking for a way to help him as well. So like myself, those of you in need of giving back to a great man might take some small condolence in knowing we've made the hardest thing for this family a bit easier and aided them to get through such an emotionally and financially demanding time. The family is planning to cover costs and then set money aside for the kids future if there is any left from your generous donations.
